Q Are you a recruitment agency?
A No. We will work with agencies on your behalf when they have jobs that meet your criteria. myCGpimp searches all the advertised jobs and, where appropriate, will create speculative applications – agencies will only put you forward for jobs offered by their clients.
Q Will anyone see myCGpimp on the application?
A No. Unlike an agency we don’t leave our fingerprints all over your application. We create a unique e-mail account based on your name for your applications – the employer (or agent, for that matter) will never know it wasn’t you who sent it.
Q I’ve got an interview – what happens next?
A Congratulations! myCGpimp will e-mail you a cheat sheet to help you prepare for the interview. If the job isn’t for you let us know and we’ll keep looking until the retainer ends.
Q Can you write my résumé for me?
A Yes. We can write a résumé from the information you supply – let us know if you require this additional service. Our team of writers is led by an editor with more than ten years’ experience, most recently copy editing reviewer guides and writing biographies for C-level executives at Microsoft for media outreach.
Q Why can't I view or edit my registration details when I log in?
A We don't currently offer an edit facility for your registration details at the moment, although if we get enough requests we will endevour to add this to our site. The details that you provide for us go straight to our staff who immediately begin actioning your service request using the information you provided. Remember also that we only keep your registration information (other than your login information) for 30days from the time you pay for a service, after which we delete it from our system. This is to ensure the security of your information.
Q If I am a return client can you use my old registration information?
A As it is our policy to delete any old client information from our database after a thirty day period it is likely that you will need to fill in the registration information again. While this may take a few minutes of your time it will allow us to be sure that your information is up to date and relevant to your latest service request.
Q Can you create a showreel for me?
A We will be adding this service shortly. In the meantime, we offer a clean-up service that will enable your files to be more web friendly.
Q Can you create a website for me?

Q What does ‘on retainer’ mean?
A A retainer agreement is a work for hire contract. It falls between a one-time contract and full-time employment. myCGpimp offers its Full Monty and Bareback Pimping services on a 30-day retainer basis; this means that we will work on your behalf for 30 days from the day you sign up. Our other services are offered for a one-time fee.
